Ali and the Found Wallet

This is Ali. Ali is a boy. He lives in Kampung Sentosa. Ali likes to play football with his friends. He is a good child. He listens to his mother and father. His mother always says, "Ali, we must be honest."

One day, Ali was walking home from school. Ali saw a wallet on the road. The wallet was black. Ali took the wallet. His heart was pounding. He opened the wallet. Inside, there was a lot of money. There was also an identification card.

Ali thought for a moment. With this money, he could buy a new bicycle. He could buy a lot of ice cream. But, Ali remembered his mother's advice. Honesty is important. This is not Ali's money. This is someone else's money. That person must be sad.

Ali did the right thing. He did not take the money. He looked at the address on the identification card. The house was not far. He walked to the house. He wanted to give the wallet back.

Ali arrived at a wooden house. He greeted them, saying ‘salam’. A man came out. Ali asked, "Is this Mr. Ismail's house?" The man said yes. Ali gave the wallet. "I found this wallet." Mr. Ismail was very happy. All his money was there. He praised Ali for being an honest boy. Mr. Ismail wanted to give Ali money, but Ali didn’t accept it. Ali was happy because he could help someone.
